The sea view from the room was stunning and definitely a highlight. The air conditioning worked effectively, keeping the room cool during a hot night.
The ONLY good thing about this motel is that it is located on Seawall Blvd.

This place was a decent option for resting in Galveston at a reasonable price. The room had a nice view of the courtyard, which was a pleasant surprise.

The place is budget-friendly, and despite worries about bed bugs, we found none! AC worked great and cooled off quickly.

The room was pretty basic and definitely felt dated. Nothing special about it, to be honest. The bed was just okay, not super comfy, and the vibe was a bit worn out. It did have decent AC, which was nice because it was hot outside. But other than that, the experience was pretty lackluster.

The only highlight was the location on Seawall Blvd, close to attractions. However, the room was poorly maintained, with cleanliness issues, and the overall service was lacking. Dining options were limited and unimpressive. I wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

Charming, Charming, Charming
My stay was charming! The beach access made it so easy to soak up the sun and enjoy the ocean waves. Plus, the sun terrace was the perfect spot for sipping morning coffee while listening to the gentle breeze.

We had a pleasant stay at Ocean Inn, especially enjoying its fantastic location right on Seawall Blvd. The easy access to the beach was a highlight, making our mornings enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring our needs were met throughout our visit.
Some areas seemed in need of maintenance.

The stay was a bit disappointing. While the location on Seawall Blvd was a definite plus, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. We found some issues with the sheets and general upkeep, but we were happy the air conditioning worked well. For anyone looking for a budget-friendly place just to crash for a night, it might work, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay.

I had a pretty rough experience here. the dirty sheets and unkempt bathroom were totally off-putting. On the flip side, the pool was nice for a quick dip, and the small garden area was a cozy spot to unwind. Just watch out for the lack of staff presence during check-in, it might throw you off a bit. 😕
